RAAF PC9/A Deeper Maintenance of Repairable Items (RI) Contract

In 2003 Airflite secured a Contract with the Commonwealth of Australia to maintain the Repairable Items on the PC9/A fleet of aircraft, utilised as military trainers for the RAAF.

As part of this Contract Airflite is responsible for over 130 aircraft items on each of the 66 aircraft. This is managed by Airflite's custom designed tracking and management software backed by qualified and dedicated professionals, ensuring the component repair or overhauls are conducted on time and within budget.

The majority of the repair activities are performed using existing Airflite capability and resources, with a specialised support network of quality aprpoved organisations. Under Airflite's direction, the number of repair agencies used to achieve this task has reduced by 75% by focussing on mutually beneficial relationships and in-house Airflite capability.
