Airflite can support a fleet of aircraft for a customer, ensuring aircraft aviability and lowering overall maintenance costs through the use of a single centre of excellence, experienced maintenance management and stagger control of all aircraft and components, and a dedicated team of technicians that become the experts on the customers aircraft fleet.
For truely efficient fleet management this can include inventory control from the Product Support Department, with the maintenance forecasts of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance combining with the Product Support capability to ensure the aircraft fleet will not be left waiting for maintenance or for parts. (for independent inventory management options please refer to the Product Support section of the website).
Our experience in this area is derived from both civilian and military customers. Airflite has supported the RAAF fleet of 65 PC9/A aircraft as well as four specially configured Beechcraft B200 King Airs for navigational training by the RAAF (refer to the Defence section for further details on both projects). In the civilian environment Airflite has been responsible for the fleet availability of the Singapore Flying College fleet of 15 aircraft, as well as our current arrangements with the China Southern West Australian Flying College where Airflite supports a fleet of two Citation Jets and four twin engine training aircraft.
Beyond the maintenance and product support combined solution outlined here, Airflite also has the experience to reduce the overall ownership cost for an aircraft fleet. This is achieved through the notions mentioned above in addition to a dry lease arrangement, whereby Airflite owns the aircraft fleet to be used exclusively by the client. Using the Avionics specialisation Airflite can modify existing aircraft to have common avionics suites, or through the aircraft sales department can arrange for an entirely new fleet that best fits customer requirements. The overall result can be a significant reduction in ownership and operating costs of an aircraft fleet, allowing the customer to focus on their core business.
