The Skycraft Story

Skycraft Electronics became the specialised avionics division of Airflite Pty Ltd in January of 2004. Skycraft is now rapidly becoming the Airflite Avionics department in both name and services and can now provide access to total aviation solutions as well as high quality avionics sales and service.

Skycraft Electronics was established in 1979, as a partnership and grew steadily to become a recognised major avionics sales and service centre in Australia. Providing avionics support for regional airlines, corporate and charter operators, together with flying schools and private owners, Skycraft caters for a wide cross section of the general aviation and Defence industries.

Located at Perth’s Jandakot Airport, Skycraft Electronics has steadily acquired a wide range of skilled and experienced personnel that are ready and able to meet the high demands of today’s modern Avionics maintenance. Skycraft Electronics has developed long time relationships with equipment manufacturers such as Honeywell, Bendix / King, Garmin and Rockwell Collins to name a few.

Besides its main Base at Jandakot Airport, the main secondary airport for Perth, in Western Australia Skycraft provides Avionics support at Perth International and Domestic Airports and also provides field service throughout the vast state of Western Australia.

Skycraft Electronics has been and continues to be a proud provider of quality avionics service to the aviation community.

The decision to purchase the trading name, assets and to importantly retain key staff members was a strategic move by Airflite to enable increased internal component repair capability and to further enhance Airflite's ability to be a one-stop-shop for all aviation maintenance, product support and modification requirements.

Adding this specialised avionics capability and technicians with a solid background means that Airflite was not only acquiring a capability, but a proven and tested technical capacity and service to compliment Airflite's existing business.

With the proven Skycraft avionics capability now on board under the Airflite Avionics banner, Airflite now provides complete aviation solutions and with previous Skycraft customers getting access to a broader aviation service.
